Preparation Instructions

Thawing:

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or on a thawing board.

 Start when the shrimp is about 80% thawed.

Trimming:

  Cut off the sharpest horn on the head.

Trim the whiskers slightly (leaving a bit of the whiskers, which makes them crunchy when fried).

Removing the Head:

 Remove the head from the body.

Peeling:

Peel off the shell and rinse the shrimp in cold water.

Preparing for Sashimi/Sushi:

Serve the shrimp as sashimi or place it on sushi rice to enjoy as sushi.

Frying the Head:

Coat the head in tempura batter and fry it, or cook it in an air fryer until crispy (about two cycles).

Enjoy a delicious, gourmet shrimp cracker with the added savory taste of the meat and innards in the head.

손질방법

  1. 해동:

전 날 냉장해동하거나 해동보드에서 해동합니다.

80% 정도 해동되었을 때 시작합니다.

  1. 머리뿔과 수염 정리:

가장 뽀족한 머리뿔을 잘라냅니다.

수염을 살짝 트림합니다. (수염을 약간 남기면 머리 튀김 시 오독오독한 맛이 납니다.)

  1. 머리 떼기:

머리를 떼어냅니다.

  1. 껍데기 벗기기:

껍데기를 벗긴 후 찬물에 헹굽니다.

  1. 사시미/스시 준비:

아마에비를 그대로 사시미로 먹거나 스시밥 위에 올려 스시로 즐깁니다.

  1. 머리 튀김:

머리는 튀김가루를 묻혀 튀기거나, 에어프라이어에서 

두 번 정도 바삭하게 굽습니다.

바삭한 새우깡 완성입니다.
